Community guidelines
Uky works when people feel safe to be honest about what they want. These guidelines apply everywhere: profiles, likes, chats, plans and Desires.
Last updated: 2026-11-02
Consent, always
- Ask, listen and accept “no” — including silence or an unmatch.
- Agreeing to coffee, a hike or a party is not consent to anything romantic or sexual.
- Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Desires preferences are a starting point for a conversation, not a promise.
Respect
- Be kind about other people's bodies, identities, relationship styles and choices.
- No hate speech, slurs or discrimination.
- If someone is not interested, move on without pressure.
No harassment
- No repeated unwanted messages, threats, stalking or doxxing.
- No unsolicited sexual messages or images. Explicit content is never allowed in public profile areas.
- Don't try to contact someone who blocked you through other chats, plans or accounts.
Adults only — zero tolerance
Members must be 18 or older. Any content that sexualises minors is removed, the account is banned, and we report it to the authorities where required.
No scams or selling
- Never ask other members for money, gifts, investments, crypto or account details.
- No advertising, sex work solicitation, recruitment or links to paid content.
- Be yourself: no fake profiles, stolen photos or impersonation.
Photos and content
- Photos should show you. No nudity or sexually explicit content, no violence, no other people without their permission.
- Private albums (where available) are shared only with explicit, revocable permission — and the same rules apply.
Meeting safely
- Meet in public for the first time and arrange your own transport.
- Use Safe Date sharing to let a trusted person know your plans.
- Trust your instincts. You can leave at any time.
Reporting
Use Report on any profile, message or plan. Reports are private — the other person doesn't learn who reported them. Our moderators review every report, may restrict accounts, and you can appeal any decision about your own account.
In an emergency in Switzerland call 117 (police), 144 (ambulance) or 112.
